Dr. Doreen Groves, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Doreen Groves grew up in North Bergen, New Jersey. She attended William Paterson College’s Nursing Program (Wayne, NJ) in 1980 and graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, NJ while working on her pre-requisites for medical school. Her career choice took a 360 degree turn when she experienced severe migraine headaches which were only helped by chiropractic adjustments.

Instead of going to medical school, she attended Life University in Maretta, Georgia and graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude in December 1990 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Upon graduating, Dr. Groves continued working as a Registered Nurse and has experience in pediatric, newborn intensive care nursery, labor & delivery and the operating room. In 1997, she founded North Dover Chiropractic Wellness Centre in Toms River, NJ. She feels blessed that she has had the opportunity to experience “the best of both worlds” – medicine and natural health care, and because of this she is able to utilize her knowledge and experience to deliver exceptional health care to her patients.

Dr. Groves is extremely passionate about Chiropractic and healthcare. What makes her stand out from some other doctors is her genuine concern, her comforting listening skills and the time she takes with each patient. She always goes the extra mile and she will never give up on you. The office is surrounded by trained professionals and staff who are in line with Dr. Groves’ purpose: to provide extraordinary healthcare to all of her patients so that they could enjoy living a more joyous, vitalistic life. What that entails is searching for the underlying cause of your symptoms, taking a holistic approach and offering services that address the physical, mental, and chemical stressors that affect a person’s health in the first place.

Besides always exploring ways to improve the health and lives of people in her community, she is a dedicated and loving wife and mother of three. She enjoys attending her sons’ college football games, her daughter’s dance competitions and recitals and loving her two dogs, Max and Zoie.
